The International Council of Mental Health Nurses (ICMHN) now has 150 founding members across 18 countries.
Thank you to everyone who has joined, shared the registration link and encouraged colleagues to participate. Our growing community brings together clinicians, educators, researchers, leaders and advocates committed to advancing mental health nursing.
Members bring experience from different countries, health systems and practice settings. They have expressed interest in contributing to education, workforce development, advanced practice, ethics, safe care environments and suicide prevention. These interests will help inform the Council’s priorities and international collaborations.
We invite founding members and the wider mental health nursing community to join us at the Future of Mental Health Nursing Summit 2026 in Barcelona on 13 and 14 November, with an optional welcome reception on 12 November.
The Summit will provide opportunities to discuss education, leadership, service delivery and future priorities for mental health nursing research and practice.
